Andrew McKenzie is the lead clinical supervisor here at Toronto Psychotherapy Space. He meets with our therapists on a regular basis to support them in their work with clients and to foster their continued growth and learning within the field. ​​
My Story
Andrew McKenzie M.S.W., R.S.W. has worked in community mental health for over a decade. He led teams that provided psychotherapy to individuals and families in west Toronto. He facilitated the development of several successful programs, including a rapid access virtual counselling clinic, a trauma-focused CBT program, and most recently an interdisciplinary team that countered hate-based violence.
Andrew is now in his PhD at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Social Work, researching the development of clinical skills needed for violence prevention interventions. He is a leading clinical trainer in Toronto, and a sought-after supervisor for therapists.
